Ion chemistry in space

Open Working Group Meeting of the EU COST Action
"The Chemical Cosmos: Understanding Chemistry in Astronomical Environments"
Prague, Czech Republic 17-19 May 2011

Scientific programme

Ion chemistry in space is a long-standing subject and has recently emerged again in the focus of scientific interests due to the detection of anions and the identification of several new ionic species by the Herschel Space Telescope. The programme consists of 8 sessions covering a wide range of different observational, experimental and theoretical research approches to the subject. Furthermore, one additional session is devoted to recent new developments in the general field of astrochemistry. A poster session will be held on Tuesday, May 17th 2011 in the evening. The dimensions of the poster boards are 150 (height)x 100 cm (width) in the portrait format. So DIN A0 in the portrait format should be fine.

A preliminary schedule of the programme can be downloaded as. doc file from this link.
