NorWiP – Annual Meeting 2008 – GenDADA

Crossing Perspectives on Gender and Physics

Conference 17-19 September 2008

The next Annual Meeting of NorWiP (Nordic Network of Women in Physics) will be held in conjunction with GenDADA – Workshop on Gender & Physics. The first day of the meeting will be dedicated to the NorWiP agenda, with physics lectures and workshops for physicists. The second and third days the program will consist of talks by invited Physicists and Gender Researchers with a specialization in physics. We welcome everyone interested in the subjects of physics and gender. There will be ample opportunities for transgressive encounters and interaction among the participants!

The workshop will be held September 17-19, at the Ångström Laboratory in Uppsala, Sweden.

We invite physicists and gender researchers to send in abstracts (max 400 words), for oral or poster presentations. The deadline for abstract submission is April 15^th 2008, and for registration May 15^th 2008. The meeting homepage is available at NorWiP2008
