The workshop
will consist a day of contributed talks followed by a half-day school.
The theme of the school is "functionality". Lectures will be given on the
correct use of Monte Carlo models, the use of data to estimate backgrounds,
statistical methods at the LHC, and the expected physics program of the
LHC in the first 12 months.
