Linda Östman Welcome to my home page! I did my PhD in the CoPS group (Cosmology, Particle astrophysics and String theory Group) which is a part of the Physics Department at Stockholm University. My supervisor was Ariel Goobar. I defended my thesis "Extragalactic extinction and spectral properties of Type Ia supernovae" in October 2009. Currently I am doing a postdoc at IFAE in Barcelona. During the last couple of years I have been observing supernovae at the Nordic Optical Telescope (NOT) on La Palma, the New Technology Telescope (NTT) in Chile and at the InfraRed Survey Facility (IRSF) in South Africa (shown below).
