About me

I am currently a senior lecturer (universitetslektor) in the Experimental Condensed Matter Physics group at Fysikum, Stockholm University. I came to this group as an assistant professor in 2005.

Before that, I did a three-year+ postdoc at Materials Science Division, Argonne National Laboratory, outside Chicago. I got my Ph.D. from the Royal Instutute of Technology (KTH) in 2002.

My current research is on mesoscopic superconductivity, nanocalorimetry, and advanced instrumentation techniques. We are building up our lab from scratch, so much of my time goes for ordering equipment, putting it together, and making it work.

Outside work, I am windsurfing, playing some chess and hex, watching romantic comedies with my wife, taking care of my and my brothers small shareware company, Ibrium HB, or travelling somewhere around the world whenever opportunity is given.
